9:45a Very Clever
Right. So there's apparently a landscaping company called Marquis de Sod ("Let us whip your lawn into shape!"). This reminds me of the record store in New York called "Long Island Sound."
(Or the coffee shop in Pittsburgh near the courthouse called "Legal Grounds.")
Ba dum dum.

11:35p Heading to bed soon.
I think I'm going to just get my butt up early and finish the dishes/take the garbage in the morning.
Lynne's project's done that I helped with, and the one I did earlier for Hobbes Dawg for his Berner character:

I think at some point I'll need to get a sewing related icon.

8:47p Yah so I hate my current gym
The gym I go tos' scale seems messed up. The weights and shizzle I'm getting form it seem a bit higher than they should be, specially since the last few days I've actually eaten less calories, drank less liquid had less food, but the scale shows me higher than I was a week ago.
Now that said I use Saturday as my 'weighing' day. I just check daily to make sure I'm heading in the right direction.
So tomorrow I'm going to my old gym to work out, they have double scales, and will check there.
Anyway...that said, 22 minutes on the StairMaster today, and then 2 1/2 minute cool down. What a work out. Felt good. Gotta keep adding time every day till I hit 30+ minutes.
I won't post the weight cos frankly it depressed me to see it going the wrong freaking direction. bleh.

2:22p Happy Birthday, Samantha!
One year ago Samantha joined us and changed everything. She's changed so much in such a short period of time and yet the changes have been subtle enough that I catch myself marveling at the differences that are happening. I'm forgetting now what some of my preconceived ideas were about babies and am letting Samantha show me the person she is and it's amazing to see the personality taking shape out of this new person. I don't know what's in store for us down the road but this past twelve months has been the best ride of my life.
Happy birthday Sam!
PS: I've also uploaded a bunch of photos of Samantha from one year ago.

1:50p From the "There May Still Be Hope" Department
Remember a few weeks ago when I relayed the story about a couple who gave up the naming rights to their son for a $100 GAS CARD?
Well, a judge in New Zealand has had enough of these ridiculous names for children, and took an opportunity to DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT.
Thank you, Judge Rob Murfitt. Thank you.
